Triangle Snatch Dramatic Draw From MWOS

Triangle fought back twice against league leaders MWOS during their 2-2 draw at Gibbo Stadium yesterday. MWOS coach Lloyd Mutasa blamed poor defending for his team losing their lead on two separate occasions. The visiting side struggled to maintain control despite taking the lead early during both halves of the match. Triangle coach Genesis Mangombe praised his players for sticking to their game plan throughout the contest. Both teams created several scoring chances but failed to capitalize on key opportunities.

MWOS striker Nigel Matinha opened the scoring after converting a precise diagonal pass from Innocent Zambezi. Triangle captain Thabani Kamusoko delivered a dangerous free kick that Witness Shave headed into the net before halftime. Mathew Murambiwa restored the visitors advantage just two minutes after the break with a clinical finish. Triangle equalized again when Tawanda Denzel Chatuluka beat several defenders before forcing goalkeeper Martin Mapisa into an error. The result ended MWOS perfect record of protecting leads throughout the current season.
