President Donald Trump complained Sunday that people never credit him for his peace efforts around the world. Trump wrote on Truth Social that he helped solve conflicts between several countries during his time as president. He said India and Pakistan made a deal because he used trade talks to bring them together. Trump also claimed he stopped fighting between Serbia and Kosovo before it turned into war. He said he prevented conflict between Egypt and Ethiopia over a dam on the Nile River.
Trump said he wants Israel and Iran to make peace soon and that many meetings are happening about this issue. He wrote that he does lots of work but never receives recognition for it. The post came one day after Trump made threats against Iran during their fight with Israel. Israeli forces attacked Iran on Thursday night and killed several top military leaders. Iran fired back with hundreds of missiles at Israel and killed at least three people according to Israeli reports.
