Trump Musk Go Nuclear Over Big Beautiful Bill

President Trump and tech billionaire Elon Musk exploded into a public fight today. Trump said he felt very disappointed with Musk after the Tesla boss attacked his domestic agenda bill. The president told reporters their great relationship might be over. Musk had just finished leading the Department of Government Efficiency last month. The two men had praised each other when Musk left the job.

Musk stepped away from his government role and later called Trump's spending bill a disgusting abomination. He said the massive bill would increase the deficit and hurt America. Trump claimed Musk knew everything about the bill when he worked for the government. The president suggested Musk only complained after learning about cuts to electric car tax credits. Trump also threatened to end government contracts with Musk's companies.

Musk fought back on social media platform X and denied Trump's claims about the bill. He said Trump would have lost the 2024 election without his help. Musk also claimed Trump appears in the Jeffrey Epstein files and that explains why those records stay secret. The billionaire predicted Trump's tariffs would cause a recession later this year. He asked his followers if he should start a new political party.
