Tsenengamu returns to the Zanu-PF fold

Former Zanu PF Youth Affairs Political Commissar Godfrey Tsenengamu has returned to the ruling party after being expelled in 2020 for criticizing senior leadership. Tsenengamu received an enthusiastic reception from thousands of supporters at Dzivarasekwa Stadium in Harare, where he vowed to follow party rules and accept whatever assignments come his way.

The political operative was originally suspended alongside Lewis Matutu, who complied with orders to attend the Chitepo School of Ideology and has since been rehabilitated as Midlands Vice Provincial Chairman. Tsenengamu refused the directive, resulting in his permanent removal from party ranks until his recent reinstatement.

Speaking after announcing his comeback, Tsenengamu declared his enduring faith in Zanu PF ideology and encouraged young people to embrace the party as their political home. He committed to respecting leadership at all levels and pledged to participate actively in organizational activities moving forward.
