Tubi teams up with Kevin Hart to showcase new films

Tubi has secured a new deal with Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat to highlight films from digital creators, marking a significant move in the streaming industry. The exclusive film slate, part of Tubi’s "Tubi for Creators" initiative, will run through 2026 and feature creators like Kinigra Deon, DC Young Fly, Chico Bean, and Karlous Miller.

The slate kicks off with “Sundown,” a supernatural thriller written, directed, and starring Deon. The film follows a group of Black college friends who discover a town where terrifying myths come to life. Another title, “85 South: Dead End,” features DC Young Fly, Chico Bean, and Karlous Miller in a satirical horror-comedy about a strange Southern town where residents never leave.

Two additional films are set to be announced soon. Tubi’s Rich Bloom emphasized the platform’s commitment to supporting both emerging and established creators. Hartbeat’s Jeff Clanagan expressed excitement about giving creators like Deon, Young Fly, Bean, and Miller the chance to share their unique voices with a global audience.

Tubi’s catalog now boasts nearly 10,000 titles, and this new slate aims to amplify diverse voices.
