UAE ICP exposes golden visa scam, Dubai moves to shut fake brokers

False rumors about the UAE Golden Visas have been spreading rapidly across social media and news sites. The stories claimed certain nationalities could get lifetime visas through special deals. UAE officials quickly jumped in to set the record straight. They said all the real rules and procedures are posted on official government websites. The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security refuted these false claims on Tuesday.

The trouble started when a foreign consultancy firm made bold promises to help people get lifetime Golden Visas. The company stated that it could bypass normal legal procedures and obtain visas for anyone. UAE authorities made it clear that no outside firm can handle Golden Visa applications. All applications must go through official government channels inside the UAE. The government warned people not to fall for these scams.

The Golden Visa program allows certain foreign nationals to live and work in the UAE without requiring a local sponsor. Visa holders can also invest and study in the country while enjoying special benefits. The visas last either 5 or 10 years, depending on what category someone falls into. They renew automatically when they expire. The program targets specific groups of skilled workers and investors rather than being open to everyone.
