Criminal assailants killed Vincent Bala, a thirty-eight-year-old rideshare operator, during a violent raid on Takushara Village within Abuja's Kabusa district. The perpetrators arrived at approximately 3:30 AM on Sunday seeking the manager of a neighborhood bakery business. Gang members wrongly identified Bala as their target and attacked him with knives following the theft of mobile devices, currency, and personal belongings from his household. Medical staff at Garki General Hospital pronounced the victim deceased upon arrival, and hospital officials transferred his body to the morgue facility.
