UCC finance student dies in campus bus crash

A campus bus collision killed a UCC student who was just heading to grab his ID before an exam.

Fatal crash at the University of Cape Coast

• Caleb Kweku Mensah, a Level 200 finance student, died.
• His motorbike hit an Ayalolo bus around 3:00 p.m.
• It happened between the Amissah-Arthur Language Centre and SWLT.
• Mensah was riding to Oguaa Hall for his ID.

UCC's response to the incident

• Hospital staff couldn't save him despite emergency efforts.
• His body was moved to the UCC Morgue.
• Campus police and the MTTD launched an investigation.
• Mensah's family got notified and received condolences.
