UK Lammy Warns Middle East Could Ignite

Britain's Foreign Secretary David Lammy worried about fighting between Israel and Iran after deadly overnight attacks. He posted on social media about reports of deaths and injuries across Israel. The British official called for urgent steps to stop more harm to innocent people. Lammy spoke with Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to ask for calm during the crisis. World leaders demanded both countries show restraint.

Iranian missiles killed three civilians and hurt 70 others during strikes on central Israel. Tehran has not shared how many people died from Israeli attacks on military and nuclear sites. The Times of London reported that Britain did not know about Israel's first strike before it happened. International pressure builds for both sides to end the violence.
