UMFCCI told to up their game, tax cuts dangle in sight

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing told Myanmar's chamber of commerce that his regime plans to cut tax collection soon, and he wants business groups to keep prices fair while pushing quality products. He said the government and private sector need to work together on economic development, and he's open to hearing about challenges from entrepreneurs through official channels.

The general talked about bringing in foreign investment to boost jobs and tech transfers, and he hyped up Myanmar's potential in minerals, garments, and agriculture. He mentioned that hitting cultivation targets could bring in an extra 8 to 12 billion dollars annually if farmers can manage multiple crop cycles. He also pushed rural development and said products like Pawsan rice and coffee already have overseas markets, so other goods should follow that path.
