UMG is opening UMusic Hotel on London's Denmark Street

UMusic Hotel Denmark Street opens in London's West End this fourth quarter. This property marks UMHL's first UK location and second European site after Madrid, operating within Outernet's entertainment district that attracts 120 million annual visitors near historic Tin Pan Alley.

The Lower Third venue sits on the former 12 Bar Club site where Adele and Jeff Buckley once performed. UMHL leads programming there using Universal's global artist network while managing food concepts and lounge spaces across Outernet's digital platforms following Chateau Denmark's August closure.

Madrid launched as the debut property in 2022 inside Albéniz Theater with 130 rooms. Austin and Kansas City developments now join Tulum's December beach club opening plus Ibiza and Dubai O Beach venues under joint ventures expanding experiential hospitality beyond traditional music revenue streams.

Sir Lucian Grainge prioritized superfan monetization through retail stores and IRL event integrations during his January memo. UMG does not disclose hospitality segment profits despite describing UMHL as a partnership-developed brand rather than a wholly owned division scaling physical fan experiences worldwide.
