Unbeaten Sables Smash Botswana 80-12

Zimbabwe's rugby team crushed Botswana 80-12 at Harare Sports Club on Saturday. This win keeps the Sables undefeated throughout 2025. The team had just beaten Zambia on the same field last week. Co-captain Khumalo and French player Katsvere each scored twice during the first half. Botswana managed just one score before halftime.

The visitors added another try after the break but failed to score again. Zimbabwe kept adding points as the match went on. Fresh players from the bench helped maintain the attack all game. The home crowd cheered with each new score. Khumalo said his teammates played well but still need to fix some problems.

Botswana captain Van Zyl believed his team tried hard against tough rivals. Both teams will study game videos to prepare for future matches. The Sables will travel to Lusaka to face Zambia again later this month. Based on recent games, fans expect more wins. Players seem ready as they prepare for their upcoming road game.
