Kenya Morans Finish Day One Unbeaten at Rugby Africa Sevens

Kenya B Morans crushed their competition at the Rugby Africa Sevens tournament in Mauritius. The team won every game on the first day and sits at the top of Pool A. They beat Ghana without letting them score a single point. The final score was 33-0 against Ghana. Uganda also lost to Kenya with a score of 12-5.

George Ooro scored the first try against Ghana early in the match. William Mwanji added another try at the corner of the field. Floyd Wabwire made it three tries before halftime. The team led Ghana 21-0 when players took their break. Philip Okeyo helped seal the win with more points in the second half.

The Uganda match proved much harder for Kenya. Neither team scored during the first half of play. Dennis Abukuse broke through Uganda's defense to score first. He also kicked the ball through the posts for extra points. George Ooro added another try to give Kenya a 12-point lead.

Uganda managed to score one try near the end of their match. They could not kick the ball through the posts for bonus points. Kenya kept their lead and won the game. The team has not allowed opponents to score in two of their three matches. They head into the knockout rounds with confidence after dominating their pool.
