Kenya Morans finished fourth at the 2025 Africa Men's Sevens tournament after losing two close games. The team played well during parts of the competition but could not win a medal. Zimbabwe denied Kenya a bronze medal after a thrilling comeback victory. Ojwang and Abukuse both scored tries during the first half. Siketi converted one kick to give Kenya a 12-0 halftime lead. Abukuse scored again early after the break to stretch the advantage. Zimbabwe scored twice near the end to win 21-19.
