Unni Mukundan becomes Modi in ‘Maa Vande’

They started shooting that Narendra Modi biopic called Maa Vande with a traditional ceremony. The lead actor, Unni Mukundan, posted a video from the set to mark the beginning of production. This project was first announced back on the Prime Minister's birthday in September. The film is being directed by Kranthi Kumar C.H. and produced by Veer Reddy M. under Silver Cast Creations.

The movie aims to tell a story about modern India, focusing on the personal and political journey of the Prime Minister. It promises to highlight themes like a mother's determination and the formation of a leader through sacrifice and values. The production team includes several big names from major Indian films. The crew has action director King Solomon, production designer Sabu Cyril, and editor Sreekar Prasad. The director of photography is K.K. Senthil Kumar, with music by Ravi Basrur, who previously worked on projects like the KGF series. Their collective experience includes landmark films such as Baahubali and Salaar.
