AAEON just launched its tiniest Mini PC ever with Wi-Fi support. The UP 710S Edge runs on Intel Processor N chips but takes up just 92 mm x 77 mm x 38 mm of space. Companies looking to upgrade their factory systems will find this small device perfect for modern automation needs. It comes with any chip from the Intel Processor N family, which used to be called Alder Lake-N.
The UP 710S Edge brings new features to the product line, including an 8-bit GPIO that can work with SPI, I2C, and PWM if needed. Users will appreciate the added COM port that supports RS-232/422/485 connections and the M.2 2230 E-key slot that makes Wi-Fi easy to set up. You'll also find three USB Type-A ports using USB 3.2 Gen 2 technology, plus gigabit Ethernet and an HDMI port for your screen.
This mini PC can run different systems, such as Windows 11 IoT Enterprise 24H2 LTSC, Ubuntu 22.04.4+ LTS, or Yocto 4.0. Irene Lin, Senior Product Manager at UP, thinks customers will love how this small computer helps them update their systems. She points out that adding extra ways to connect makes the device more useful, especially with the choice between standard GPIO and other connection types.
AAEON sells the UP 710S Edge right away through their contact form online. The company plans to add it to their UP Shop very soon. This tiny but mighty computer packs all the power needed for industrial tasks into a space smaller than most smartphones. Its small size doesn't limit what it can do, making it ideal for tight spaces where regular computers wouldn't fit.
