Minneapolis band VIAL put out a fresh track called Creep Smoothie as their latest self-released effort. The punk trio had a busy previous year when they delivered their burnout album to fans. They also took songs from their first record Grow Up and made new versions for an album titled Grow The Fuck Up. The three-piece group continues making music after those two major releases. Their newest song runs for just two minutes and packs plenty of energy.
The band members said heavier punk and hardcore acts influenced their approach to writing Creep Smoothie. They drew inspiration from current projects in those music styles that they admire. The track moves fast and delivers an angry sound that matches their punk rock roots. VIAL chose to release the song without a record label backing them. The group handled the distribution themselves for this particular recording.
