Vishwak Sen claps back at Sivaji’s saree sermon

Actor Vishwak Sen criticized fellow actor Sivaji for recent comments about women's clothing. Sen stated on social media that opinions like those should remain unspoken, calling the remarks nonsense. He argued that women do not require instructions on what to wear or how to be judged, adding that Sivaji does not represent real men. Sivaji reportedly made the statements at an event for his film Dhandoraa and has since apologized due to public backlash.

Actor Manchu Manoj also condemned the comments earlier, calling them deeply disappointing. He said policing women's attire or assigning them moral responsibility is outdated and wrong. Manoj emphasized that respect begins with individual behavior, not by shaming choices in clothing. He stated public figures must speak carefully because their words influence society, noting such comments violate constitutional principles of equality and dignity.

Manoj offered an apology on behalf of any senior actors whose derogatory language objectified women. He said such words do not reflect all men and that this behavior should not be normalized. He affirmed that women deserve constant respect and dignity, stating that silence is not acceptable and accountability is necessary.
