VP says 100,000 bird poultry farm is set to finish

The VP just confirmed a giant chicken farm project is moving ahead. Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang stated the administration is progressing on the Pomadze multipurpose poultry facility designed for a hundred thousand birds. Located near Winneba, the project includes modern feeding equipment, a feed mill, and environmentally conscious waste management systems. It recognizes the Ahmadiyya Muslim community's role in agriculture and national development.

This initiative connects to broader programs aimed at increasing domestic poultry output, generating employment, and securing food supplies. The Vice President spoke at a national convention for the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission in Gomoa Pomadze. She stated that collaboration with faith-based groups turns policy into tangible practice. Opoku-Agyemang praised the community for its investments in education and healthcare services.

Addressing the convention theme on moral decline, she referenced Islamic teachings against corruption. She emphasized the need for ethical leadership and accountability from public officials. The government reaffirmed its dedication to transparency, noting a strengthened code of conduct for its appointees. Achievements cited included lowered inflation, a more stable currency, and the removal of fees for first-year public university students.

A medical trust fund backed with a substantial financial commitment was also launched. These actions were presented as part of the administration's broader commitment to justice and development.
