Zimbabwe Warriors coach Michael Nees worries about his team losing focus during the early parts of matches. Burkina Faso beat the Warriors 2-0 during a friendly match played at Stade El Bachir Mohammedia stadium last Friday. The visitors gave up both goals before halftime when Stephane Aziz Ki scored after 23 minutes and Cyriaque Irie added another six minutes later. Nees says four players earned their first national team caps during the game against strong opposition. The coach praised his team's second half performance but remains unhappy about the defeat.
Forward Tino Kadewere impressed Nees during his complete 90-minute performance against the West African team. The coach expected Kadewere to play only 60 minutes but the striker showed excellent fitness throughout the match. Khama Billiat suffered multiple fouls and had to leave the game early because of those challenges. Zimbabwe made three substitutions during the 63rd minute bringing fresh players onto the field. The team could not score any goals despite the changes and lost the friendly match to their African opponents.
