Zimbabwes Fusire Jets to Morocco for Epic Warriors Debut

Sean Fusire heads to Morocco today with three teammates. The 20-year-old Sheffield Wednesday player will make his debut for Zimbabwe. Coach Michael Nees picked him for friendlies against Burkina Faso and Niger. The British-born midfielder had to visit Zimbabwe first for his documents. He joins other UK-based players who represent the Warriors.

Fusire travels with Captain Emmanuel Jalai and defenders Mason Mushore and Daniel Msendami. The four players fly through Qatar before reaching Casablanca tomorrow morning. They are the final group to join the squad in North Africa. Jalai and Mushore played at Rufaro Stadium yesterday before 20,000 fans. Msendami came from his South African club Marumo Gallants.

Local players, such as Khama Billiat and Walter Musona, left yesterday afternoon. They also flew through Qatar and arrived this morning. South African-based goalkeeper Washington Arubi and others departed Johannesburg yesterday. European players arrived in Morocco at midnight. The coach aims to test new talent and improve the team's world ranking ahead of important upcoming matches.
