Waves just dropped a one-knob plugin that automatically fixes clashing tracks. Curves Resolve listens between two signals and carves out space only where conflicts occur, aiming to eliminate masking and mud. It offers both dynamic real-time processing and a learned steady-state mode for intelligent ducking across broad or specific frequency ranges.
The tool includes snapshot controls with modes optimized for different instrument types. Sidechain adjustment parameters provide additional control. A separate zero-latency version called Curves Resolve Live is also included in the package.
This plugin works on Mac and Windows systems, supporting major formats like VST3 and AAX. Waves has made Curves Resolve available at no cost for a limited initial period.
