Emergency responders recovered a disabled man from a drainage channel in Teluk Intan after he fell from his wheelchair this morning. Mohd Zaidi Ismail, 48, suffered from left-side paralysis and drowned at the Jalan Labu Kubong location in Kampung Cenderong Balai. Fire department crews responded to the 8:02 a.m. emergency call and retrieved his body. Officials from the Teluk Intan Fire and Rescue Station handled the recovery operation.
