Widow of Slain Blogger Albert Ojwang Delivers Emotional Tribute

Albert Ojwang's heartbroken wife spoke at his funeral service on Wednesday. Nevinina Omondi fought back tears as she addressed mourners at Ridgeways Baptist Church. She told everyone about the crushing pain of losing her husband unexpectedly. The grieving widow said the tragedy hit her family like a truck. She called on police officers to treat all citizens with respect and kindness.

Nevinina shared memories of her final phone call with Albert from Central Police Station. He told her he loved her and would see her again soon during that last conversation. She described feeling completely broken after seeing his lifeless body at the morgue. The young mother admitted struggling to stay strong for their little boy. Albert had always encouraged her to be brave during tough times.

The widow made promises to keep supporting Albert's entire family forever. She vowed to love his parents and relatives the same way he did. Nevinina asked church members to pray for strength as she faces this difficult journey. She begged law enforcement to handle everyone with care and dignity. The grieving woman said no family should ever experience such horrible pain.

Doctors found that Albert died from severe head wounds and neck injuries at the police station. Medical experts ruled out suicide after examining his battered body. Police had arrested the teacher and blogger over social media posts. The autopsy showed someone had violently attacked him before his death. Albert Ojwang passed away on June 8 after being detained for online content.
