A Gunjur resident testified on Tuesday at Brikama Magistrates' Court against Bubacarr Jallow, who faces charges of breaking, entering and stealing under the Criminal Offences Act 2025. Buba Darboe told Magistrate K.B. Sambou that he found broken windows and shoes while filming construction for his mother Kaddy Barrow. Darboe heard sounds from the ceiling and called the intruder down before neighbors helped capture him near the property.
The witness brought Jallow to Gunjur Police Station after discovering cut electrical wires and damaged pipes. Prosecutor Cpl. E. Fofana asked about the stolen items and structural damage found at the site. The accused questioned Darboe twice when cross-examination began at the hearing.
