The ZANU PF Women's League has issued a strong warning against younger members who try to create divisions and challenge party leadership. During a National Executive meeting in Harare, Secretary for Women Affairs Mable Chinomona spoke about growing cases of bad behavior among party members. She called for greater respect toward the leadership team, especially President Mnangagwa and Vice Presidents Constantino Chiwenga and Kembo Mohadi.
Her comments followed several incidents where certain members, including those kicked out during the G40 period, used social media platforms and public events to attack top officials. Chinomona stated clearly that peace has been valuable for the country, but disrespectful actions must stop immediately. She emphasized that young people should not lead efforts to disrespect those in charge of the party.
Chinomona reminded everyone that discipline formed a key part of their freedom struggle and should continue as an essential value throughout all levels of the organization. The Women's League needs to protect party unity against troublemakers who threaten stability. Chinomona pushed members to concentrate on reaching the goals set forth in Vision 2030 and stressed how important it is to honor the positions held by party leaders.
She praised the many accomplishments under President Mnangagwa and questioned why anyone would criticize him when he has exceeded expectations across all economic sectors. As part of efforts to help communities, Chinomona presented ten solar power egg incubators designed to improve lives across the country. Each machine can hold 36,000 eggs and will support local farming projects throughout different regions.
Chinomona urged provinces to make good use of these resources for the benefit of citizens. She also discussed several ongoing initiatives, including detergent-making, sewing programs, and chicken farming projects. Her team plans to travel around the country, visiting various women's projects to check their progress and ensure they fulfill promises made to voters.
