The World Bank Group will convene senior policymakers and private sector leaders in Nairobi for the Africa Skills for Jobs Policy Academy. This September 30 through October 3, 2025, gathering addresses youth employment challenges across the continent. The Government of Kenya and the Inter-University Council for East Africa serve as collaborative partners for the event. Participants will examine skills requirements within the agribusiness, energy, health, manufacturing, and tourism sectors. The academy marks the debut of the African Continental TVET Strategy spanning 2025 to 2034.
