XDS and ICS Arabia light up Saudi tech scene with massive immersion data center deal

A major tech deal just shook up Saudi Arabia's data center world. XDS DATACENTRES from the UK and Dubai struck a massive agreement with ICS Arabia to build cutting-edge computer facilities. The companies will create a powerful 10-megawatt data center using special liquid cooling technology. This project will serve both Riyadh and Jeddah with advanced computing power. The deal supports Saudi Vision 2030 goals for digital growth.

ICS Arabia will handle all the construction work and hand over the finished facility by June 2026. The new data center will use Desert Dragon's certified infrastructure and immersion cooling systems. These systems can handle heavy-duty tasks like artificial intelligence and machine learning programs. The facility will also support blockchain applications and graphics-heavy computing work. Companies will access super-fast processing speeds through this advanced setup.

The liquid cooling technology sets this project apart from traditional air-cooled systems. XDS claims their immersion cooling approach will replace older methods across the industry. The system can pack up to 368 kilowatts of power into each equipment rack. Clients will enjoy 99.982 percent uptime guarantees and flexible power options. The facility will offer managed services and technical support around the clock.

This expansion marks XDS's second major project after announcing their Dubai facility. The company wants to dominate the Gulf region's high-performance computing market. Saudi Arabia gets sovereign digital infrastructure that meets global environmental standards. The partnership brings jobs and technical expertise to the kingdom's growing tech sector.
