Young Thug is set to perform at State Farm Arena in Atlanta on Dec. 16 for a benefit concert called Hometown Hero. He shared this announcement on Monday through the arena’s official Instagram account, where the event is listed as Young Thug & Friends. Tickets will be available starting at 10 a.m. EST on Wednesday, Oct. 8, through Ticketmaster.
The concert comes after the release of Young Thug’s fourth studio album, UY Scuti, which launched on Sept. 26. On Sept. 28, he held a free concert outside the Fulton County Courthouse in Atlanta, a location linked to his recent YSL RICO trial. At that event, he called for an end to violence in his community. The upcoming performance forms part of a plea deal permitting Young Thug to hold charitable events in Atlanta.
