Yung Lion calls on Jamaicans to lion up, defend culture, and fight inflation

Twenty-year-old musician Christian Low Hoy performs under the stage name Yung Lion. He encourages Jamaicans to adopt a "lion up" mindset during tough economic times. The young artist has faced personal losses that shaped his music. His cousin Josh and friend Jo Mersa both died during his teenage years.

Yung Lion plans to release a video for his Lion Up single in July. He has performed at venues across London and American festivals. The artist collaborates with established musicians like Spragga Benz and Barrington Levy. He works to bridge musical generations through his recordings.
