Yunus honors 12 at Youth Volunteer Award 2025 as Afida Khondokar wins big

Professor Muhammad Yunus presented recognition honors to twelve young volunteers during a Monday ceremony at his Dhaka office. These individuals received the Youth Volunteer Award 2025 for their remarkable social impact work. The Ministry of Youth and Sports coordinated the presentation event. Recipients were selected across five distinct award categories.

The honorees demonstrated outstanding dedication through their volunteer efforts across various sectors. Among those recognized was Afida Khondokar, who leads the Bangladesh women's national football team as captain. The ceremony highlighted the valuable role young people play in advancing social causes. Each recipient earned recognition for inspiring others through their selfless service.
