Zak Brown banks $46M after McLaren title win

McLaren chief executive Zak Brown earned 37.3 million pounds in 2024 after the team captured its first constructors' championship since 1998, according to Bloomberg. The compensation represents a substantial increase from his previous 24.4 million pound salary and coincides with the team securing a 100 million dollar annual sponsorship agreement with Mastercard. Executive salaries at the organization more than doubled to reach 75.7 million pounds, while revenue climbed 23 percent to approximately 609 million euros with gross profits of 43 million euros. The team's valuation surpassed 3 billion dollars following its competitive resurgence under Brown's leadership, which began when he joined the organization in 2018 and promoted Andrea Stella to team principal.
