Benjamin Ganyiwa lost his spot as Gutu East MP for trying to kick out six district chairs without following rules. He also ran unauthorized meetings where people criticized leadership. Since he can't stay in the party, he loses his parliament seat, which means voters must pick someone new.
Harare's DCC 2 chairman, Godwin Gomwe, was fired for causing factions and behaving badly. His fellow Harare member, Edson Ringwa, was punished because officials say he handed out land illegally around Chitungwiza.
