Zanu PF keeps kicking people out as fights between groups heat up. Several areas sent party leaders names suggesting who should leave next. Albert Nyakuedzwa shared these details at a Makoni meeting held Sunday in Rusape. He stressed that everyone must register their party-related social media groups officially with Zanu PF headquarters.
"Many areas already told central leaders which people they want to be removed, and you've seen some already lost their membership," Nyakuedzwa explained. "Here in Manicaland, we demand good behavior. We can't accept anybody bad-mouthing our leadership. Certain folks attacked our big names on social media platforms, which pushed us to require every group to register properly. This helps us track down troublemakers when problems happen," he continued.
Eight members recently lost their places inside Zanu PF, including vocal military veteran Blessed Geza. Big names like Harare political leader Kudakwashe Damson, lawmaker Benjamin Ganyiwa from Gutu East, and Godfrey Gomwe also faced removal. Nyakuedzwa made clear nobody should question plans to extend President Emmerson Mnangagwa's leadership until 2030 since party officials already approved this plan.
Fresh appointee Kudzai Chipanga took charge as Makoni DCC chairman and pushed everyone to stick together. Famous for organizing huge marches supporting former President Robert Mugabe years back, Chipanga sent strong warnings. "Our party cannot handle splits right down the middle. Anyone creating separation between members better hear this warning loud and clear," he declared during his speech at the gathering.
