Zero-G released Elements Kepler 2, a hybrid scoring toolkit, for $126.95 through Thursday, Nov. 13, before rising to its standard $149.95 price. Producer Stefano Maccarelli expanded the original Kepler instrument with 47 GB of compressed samples recorded at 24-bit, 48kHz resolution.
The software contains more than 1,300 presets that cover synth textures, motion strings with Bow In Motion legato technology, hybrid percussion and distant choirs. Engineers access three design modules for sequences, evolving textures and synth tones alongside multi-sampled string patches and percussion instruments with up to 12 round robins and five dynamic levels.
The toolkit adds vocal elements that feature melodic voices, throat singing, sequenced breathing, tribal chants and screams. MPE and ROLI controllers work with polyphonic aftertouch and glide functions. Zero-G offers the software for owners of Kepler 1 at $50 with a checkout code and provides 20% discounts for customers who have purchased Elements and Ethera products. The library requires the full version of Kontakt 8.6.
