Zimbabwe War Vets Push to Oust President Over Health Graft

Zimbabwe war veterans have leaked a draft plan to remove the President from office. The group, with Blessed "Bombshell" Geza at the front, claims the President suffers from brain problems that make him unfit to lead. They point to Section 97 of Zimbabwe's laws as their reason for wanting him gone. His poor health makes him a danger to national safety, they say.

Medical reports show the President has vascular dementia, according to the draft. This illness hurts his memory and stops him from thinking clearly. The war veterans believe he cannot run the country anymore because of how sick he is. They worry he might make bad choices that harm Zimbabwe.

The draft also accuses the President of stealing money with his friends. It names Pedzisayi Scott Sakupwanya and Kudakwashe Tagwirei as people who helped take $750 million through fake gold deals. The President runs what they call a "state looting scheme" that has stolen hundreds of millions from the Finance Ministry.

These war veterans also claim the President lets his friends sell dangerous drugs. They say businessman Wicknell Chivhayo leads a group making and selling illegal drugs across the country. The draft attacks the President's Vision 2030 plan as a harmful lie that only helps criminals. This plan has crashed the money system and added huge debts, they say.

The draft asks lawmakers to step in right away and vote to investigate these problems. People who watch Zimbabwe politics think this will cause big fights in Parliament. Many wonder who might lead the country next if these claims stick. The battle over Zimbabwe's future has just begun.
