Zomba Diocese Tells You To Vote Or Else

The United Nations Development Programme supports the electoral awareness project across Zomba Diocese. Ng'ambi reminded people that voting remains a basic human right for all registered citizens. Nobody should face threats or pressure when casting ballots at polling stations. Police Sub-Inspector Getrude Namaona warned against political violence during campaign rallies. Politicians must avoid using young people to attack supporters from opposing parties.

Violence causes injuries and deaths during election periods across the country. Police arrest people who start fights or damage property during political events. Community member Ganizani Chimenya thanked organizers for teaching villagers about democratic participation. Residents appreciated learning how to select leaders without fear or intimidation.
