In this FL Studio tutorial we will go in detail on how to copy midi notes from a VST instrument within FL Studio’s Channel rack to an instance of another VST instrument.

Step 1: Load your previous FL Studio project or the current FL Studio project you are working on.

Step 2: Right click on the channel of the VST instrument you want to copy midi notes from and hover your mouse pointer towards where the menu option says “Copy.”

Step 3: Right click on the channel of the VST instrument where you want to paste the midi notes you have just copied from the previous VST instrument and hover your mouse to where it says “Paste.”

Therefore, when you click paste FL Studio will copy midi notes from the intitial VST to the target VST instrument.

Step 4: Open up the Piano Roll to see the notes you have just copied from the other VST instrument.
