Uganda will host Africa's first Triple Elimination Conference from July 21-23, 2025, at Speke Resort Munyonyo in Kampala. The event targets the elimination of HIV, Hepatitis B, and Syphilis through coordinated continental efforts. Policymakers, health professionals, researchers, and community advocates from across Africa will participate in this regional gathering. The African Union Commission, Uganda's Ministry of Health, Africa CDC, WHO, UNICEF, and UNAIDS have formed a coalition to convene the conference. The National Organisation for People Living with Hepatitis B leads the planning and coordination efforts.
