Malaysia's job market keeps getting better as fewer people struggle to find work. The Department of Statistics Malaysia reported that 522,400 people remained jobless in May compared to 525,900 in April. Officials counted 3,500 fewer unemployed workers during the month. The unemployment rate held steady at 3.0 percent for the second month running. Chief Statistician Mohd Uzir Mahidin called the numbers encouraging for the country's economy.
