Kenya Power will cut electricity to thousands of customers Thursday across four counties for maintenance work. The power company plans to upgrade systems and improve service reliability during the scheduled outages.
Uasin Gishu residents around Mugundoi and Cheptiret will lose power from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The blackout affects Outspan, Ancila, Rehema, Kabongo, Songoliet, Cheplaskei and nearby communities. Workers will spend nine hours fixing electrical equipment and power lines.
