London musician Mark William Lewis will release a new album this fall. The artist puts out his self-titled record on September 12 through A24 Music. He shared a fresh song called Still Above from the upcoming release. The album also features his recent single Tomorrow Is Perfect.
Lewis worked with Jamie Neville to produce the new record. Christian Wright handled the mastering duties for the project. The album contains 12 tracks total. Lewis released his previous album Living back in 2023.
The artist has stayed active since that release. He put out a collection called Sparkles 22-24 with various songs. Lewis also appeared on rapper MIKE's album Burning Desire. He contributed to a track called Let's Have a Ball.

Steve Gunn will release a new instrumental record this summer. The guitarist announces Music for Writers comes out August 15 through Three Lobed Records. He shared the first song called Slow Singers on the Hill as a preview. The album runs nearly 47 minutes long and features 10 tracks total. Gunn recorded the music across three different locations.
He worked on songs in Brooklyn and Berlin as well as Latvia. Ernie Indridat mixed the album and Carl Saff handled the mastering duties. Music for Writers marks Gunn's first solo effort since Other You came out in 2021. He has stayed busy with other projects during that time period. Wednesday returns with a new album called Bleeds. The indie rock band from Asheville will release their follow-up to Rat Saw God on September 19 through Dead Oceans. They shared a new song titled Wound Up Here with a music video directed by Joriel Cura. Band leader Karly Hartzman said the track came from a friend's story about pulling a body from a creek. The person had drowned but stayed underwater for days because of the current.
Hartzman borrowed a line from poet Evan Gray's book for the song. She wrote the rest of the lyrics around that phrase after it stuck with her as pure genius. Icelandic band Múm returns after an 11-year break. The group will release History of Silence on September 19 through Morr Music. The album marks their first new music since 2013's Smilewound. They shared a new song called Mild at Heart with a music video. Founding members Gunnar Örn Tynes and Örvar Þóreyjarson Smárason produced the track.
History of Silence becomes Múm's seventh studio album. The band recorded music at Sudestudio in Italy and other locations around the world. They worked in cities like Reykjavík, Berlin, Athens, Helsinki, New York and Prague. The album contains eight songs total. Múm plans to tour North America during September and October.

Titanic announced their second album today. The Mexico City duo features Mabe Fratti and Héctor Tosta who performs as I la Católica. Their new record Hagen comes out September 5 through Unheard of Hope. They shared a new song called Gotera from the upcoming release. The band plans to tour later this year to support the album.
