NAIROBI, Kenya - Kenya and Egypt have signed a dozen agreements. The deals aim to enhance cooperation in various sectors.
President William Ruto announced the pacts on Wednesday. He said they cover trade, investment, education, and technology.
The agreements include political consultations and diplomatic training. They also involve investment, gender equality, and maritime partnerships.
Youth empowerment, higher education, and research are also part of the deals. Other areas are telecoms, IT, space, governance, and development.
Housing, construction, and urban planning will see increased collaboration as well.
