is a Shonglish phrase that can both mean old money or the idea of being an upstart without flaunting it. It connotes a sense of modesty and discretion, as opposed to the more ostentatious display of wealth often seen on social media by mbinga dzitsva ("the nouveau riche"). Their objective is usually to make a statement to imaginary haters.

When translated literally, mari isina noise means "money without noise". Furthermore, to use that phrase in a none slangified (or formal version) in chiShona you would have to say mari isina ruzha.
