Tharaka Nithi County faces questions about unpaid bills worth 439 million shillings. The Senate wants police to check if these bills are real, and they think some might be fake.
The same county moved 37 million shillings between accounts against the rules. The Senate wants the anti-graft team to find out why this happened. Anyone who broke the law should face charges.
Homa Bay County needs to explain missing alcohol permit fees. They planned to get 1.46 million shillings but showed zero income. The Senate wants answers about this missing money.
Police must also check the 647 million shillings in Homa Bay's books. The county hid 136 million shillings in debt. Questions came up about an animal feed factory that cost 45 million shillings.
The county also changed plans for its sports field. The field was meant to cost 397 million shillings. The Senate wants to know why the price changed.
