Twenty thousand locals in Kassanda District just dodged eviction after the government finally handed over land titles. State Minister Sam Mayanja visited Kitumbi Sub-county to distribute official papers covering seven villages, such as Kyalyabulo and Lubaali. The official warned land grabbers to back off immediately while handing the documents to village chairpersons.
