Police confirmed a 25-year-old man died during a fight at Kudu Village Market. Chede Japo lost his life Sunday afternoon around 4 p.m. Eight herders from Fulani Camp fought three villagers from Uppo Village. The violence broke out during regular market day activities. Security expert Zagazola Makama reported the clash on social media.
Suka Alh. Sani stabbed Japo in the neck during the confrontation. Officers rushed the injured man to General Hospital. Doctors declared him dead when he arrived. Medical staff moved his body to the morgue for examination. Two other men suffered wounds and remain hospitalized.
