A homeless man was killed in the Gweru central business district following a dispute with another individual. Police identified the victim as Forget Nsingo, who resided on the streets with his wife and two young children.
Authorities reported that Nsingo had been involved in a quarrel with a drinking companion known only as Terrence. After the argument, Nsingo joined his family sleeping on a shop veranda. His wife later discovered him deceased, lying in a pool of blood with a significant head injury. A large, blood-stained stone was found near his body.
Police spokesperson Inspector Emmanuel Mahoko confirmed the incident and has requested public assistance to locate the suspect.
