A Plus Ban Rumour Busted By Majority Leader

Majority Leader Mahama Ayariga confirmed MP Kwame Asare Obeng remains part of the Majority group in Parliament. Media claims about his removal from the caucus chat platform after his clash with Attorney General Dr. Dominic Ayine proved false. The Bawku Central lawmaker released a statement on May 3 calling these reports completely untrue. He stressed that A Plus keeps its full membership status with the ruling side. The group chat situation never changed according to leadership.

Parliament officials want everyone to ignore what they call misleading information from GhanaWeb. The news site published a story linking recent arguments between A Plus and the Attorney General to a supposed punishment. Their public disagreement involved serious claims about corruption but did not affect party standing. The Majority team asked for a public correction from the news outlet. They maintain strong unity despite recent tensions among members. Parliamentary work continues without disruption from personal disputes.
