Aarav Dewan and Tarushi Vikram grab silvers as India crashes dreams in Asia-Pacific motorsport

Indian motorsport competitors claimed two silver medals at the FIA Asia-Pacific Motorsport Championship 2025 finale. Aarav Dewan from Gurugram earned second place in Senior class Karting Sprint competition while defending his position against challengers. Tarushi Vikram from Chikmagaluru secured another silver medal in the championship segment after winning at the Asian Auto Gymkhana Championship. The 15-year-old Dewan expressed satisfaction with his first international medal despite lacking pace to challenge race leader Yu Ka Po from Hong Kong.

Several Indian participants faced setbacks during competition. Kiaan Shah and Rehan Khan Rasheed withdrew from finals due to mechanical problems and crashes respectively. Eight-year-old Arshi Gupta finished fourth in her category. India failed to secure medals in other events such as Karting Slalom and Autocross competitions.
